My Windermere Experience
Warren Livingston
Columbia, Missouri
I have been coming to Windermere since 1985. I have attended Baptist Men's Retreats, adult campcraft training, Challenger's Congress, and Royal Ambassador's Congress when they used to be held at Windermere. I have been helping lead Royal Ambassador Camp at Windermere since 1987. I have always looked forward to coming to Windermere with the Christian atmosphere of the staff and grounds provides.
Windermere has especially fond memories for me because it was there that my son Eric accepted Jesus Christ as his savior due to a Royal Ambassador Congress. Years later at a Royal Ambassador camp held at Windermere he commited his life to full time Christian service. He is currently serving in the Army with the 10th Mountain Unit of New York as a chaplain assistant.
I have seen so many boys make decisions at Windermere that will and have changed their lives forever. I am elated that Windermere exsists and has such a loving and caring staff and truly want to provide the best possible facility for Christian expericences.
