Israel gets about 10 inches of water every year. The desert floor can get as high as 190 degrees on a summer day. But there are times when rainfall is perfectly timed. It is said to happen once every 50 years. When that happens, seeds that have laid dormant for a century begin to sprout. In fact, this very thing happened in 1980. An estimated 3,000 seeds per square inch grew to maturity. The floor of the desert literally sprung to life!
There will be moments when from the wells beneath you and from the skies above you, God will pour out His presence. Your pilgrimage may have had a tough start or suffered through a long time of dryness. Remember this passage – our strength is in the Lord. The impossible becomes possible.
I know this church will experience God’s presence out of this accident. God is not finished with their week. I am praying many will make a profession of faith before they leave.
